1. What will the measures/policy be during Decibel outdoor?
Currently, we expect that there will be a few or no measures during Decibel outdoor. This means that social distancing and wearing mouth masks won’t be mandatory. However, there is a possibility that a proof of a negative test or proof of vaccination will be required to attend the event.
2. Will visitors from abroad be able to attend the event?
This depends on the policy of the country itself, and measures taken by the Dutch government regarding travel restrictions. We advise people from abroad to keep a close eye on the information both locally and in the Netherlands. At the moment a large part of Europe looks positive, but this offers no guarantees.
3. When testing or a vaccination is required, how should visitors from abroad comply?
How entry tests or proof of vaccination is arranged for foreign visitors, is work in progress. We will inform you about this as soon as possible.
4. Can I request a refund/voucher if I am not allowed to travel to the Netherlands in August?
As soon as it is clear that you are not allowed or able to travel to the Netherlands to make it to the event on August 20, 21 and 22, you can send us an email with a request to change your ticket for Decibel outdoor on 19,20 and 22 in 2022 or to request a voucher or refund. If you want to use this option, you must inform us before August 1st via firstname.lastname@example.org. After this date you can sell your ticket via Ticketswap.
5. Do you have to be vaccinated or show a negative test to attend Decibel outdoor?
There is a chance that the Dutch government will make proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test mandatory to enter the event. There is currently no final decision on this. We will keep you updated on this matter.
6. Do you have to provide your own negative test or is there a test facility at the festival site?
How testing will be arranged, where and how the test facilities are provided and through what mechanism proof of a negative test is required is work in progress. We will inform you as soon as possible when and how these measures are being taken. We will make sure this process will run as smoothly as possible.
7. If I stay outside the festival site, do I have to get tested again when I go back on the site?
Currently, a negative test result is valid for 40 hours. We assume that this is sufficient for weekend visitors. We will inform you when we have more clarity on these regulations.
8. What happens when I’m in quarantine during the period that Decibel outdoor takes place?
Obviously, this would be an unfortunate and unexpected situation. With an official statement for quarantine, we will provide you with the opportunity to change your ticket to Decibel outdoor on August 19, 20 and 21, 2022. You can also offer your ticket via the official resale platform Ticketswap to give other fans the chance to attend the event.
9. What if I test positive for Decibel outdoor?
Obviously, this would be an unfortunate and unexpected situation. In this case you will not be allowed to attend Decibel outdoor. If you can demonstrate that you have tested positive a few days before August 20, 21 and 22, we will give you the opportunity to change your ticket to Decibel outdoor on August 19, 20 and 21, 2022. You can also purchase your ticket via the official resale platform Ticketswap to give other fans the chance to attend the event.
10. Do I also have to be tested if I am vaccinated?
Based on the information available at this time, this would not be the case. It concerns a vaccination or a negative test. So, one of the two options should suffice. If this changes, we will inform you.
11. What if I don't want to be vaccinated and don't want to be tested?
In this case, it is possible that you will not be granted access the event. Because this is a measure that could apply, we give you the opportunity to change your ticket to Decibel outdoor on August 19, 20 and 21, 2022. if you want to be eligible for this, you must inform us before July 1st via email@example.com. This will not apply to tickets purchased after July 1st, because this possible measure is already known. After this date you have the option to offer your ticket via the official resale platform Ticketswap, to give other fans the opportunity to attend the event.
12. Will the festival take place at 100% capacity?
The government announced on the 11th of June, that events can take place at 100% capacity from the 30th of June. From the 29th of July, this will also apply for multi day festivals with overnight stay.
13. When are you 100% sure that Decibel can take place?
We are currently assuming that Decibel will take place as planned. Of course, in the current situation, there is always a chance that circumstances will change. But for now, it looks like we will be seeing each other at the Loudest City on Earth this August!
